Need help stream dreambox to VLC.

Hello.

I need help!!
I have VLC installed on my PC. I portforwarded some ports wich i found in tutorials on google but it doesn't work!.

I can go to the webinterface of dreambox and click on WebTV.. But I want it in my VLC.
Who can help me??

You don't need to powrtforward from your DM to your computer if you're on teh same network. PortFw is only necessary if you intend to access your DM from outside your network, usually the the internet.

Clicking webtv should start VLC. I haven't logged into the web interface of my DM for ages, so can't recall what, ifanything needs to be changed. Any reason you want to use VLC instead of something like DreamStream?

Uninstall the VLC and set your ports to default or the correct working way and if you like VLC then re-install.

In VLC, you open Network Stream instead of open file or folder.
