I have a VW passat in with me at the min which seems to be displaying all the symptoms of a hot start fault like the edc16 on the vw.
There are no fault codes, car starts fine when cold, when hot takes longer to start however when the coolant temperature uplugged starts fine. Changed coolant temp just for piece of mind and no change. I am not familiar with the architecture of these ecus. Do they have a start map similar to bosch and if so can it be altered to improve the warm start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have dump of car if anyone wants to see it.
EDIT: Car has also had the injectors replaced under the recall, customer says problem was there before and after injectors were changed.

Have you used it to correct a hot start fault before?
