I have given a months notice on my sky subscription, i have auired a new internet provider in talk talk and want to know what satellite box i need to get in order to get all the channels by paying a nominal subscription instead of the vast amounts i've been paying sky? i would still like to be able to record and watch hd. Or is it possible to somhow flash or make use of my current hd box? Thanks GPD

a box with a motorised dish will get you much more than sly, we dont talk about obtaining pay tv illegally here.

Boxes such as dreambox, vu, technomate you should be looking at

Bit off googling mate, read the rules of the forums you come across before posting, some allow card sharing talk, some don't.

Best thing to do with your old box is remove the hard drive and shove it in your new box (if whatever you decide takes a 3.5 inch sata drive) your probably have a 300 0r 500GB hdd in it and the box will still work as a free-sat style box
