hi guys just been given a macbook from a freind wth a dammaged hardrive so i need to install a new drive and os never worked on a mac before any ideas how to do this. btw i dont have any disks at all. someone said i need os snow leopard 10.6 but how do i install it?

Just like replacing a hard drive in any other laptop m8, try and get hold of an OS system from the internet, burn it to disc or install it via usb stick etc, it's just as easy as replacing and installing on a Windows machine.
