hi iv just got a motorised system and i have a bit of a problem as im limited to the amount of space i have for the dish turning , the only sats im interested in are 28.2e, hotbird 13.0 and astra 19.0 , my dish has enough space to turn for these satelittes ,
latitude- 55.890212
longitude- -4.080233, east, north, south iv no idea have heard when puting these figures into the box that it has to be rounded off to the last zero or someting help with that if you can?
at the moment the dish is sitting on the hotbird satelitte on the motor , im not sure what is the best position to sit the motor or do i face the motor its self to a satelitte? , the motor is sitting straight just the way it came out the box , thankf for any help as iv scouted the net for info but asking you guys makes it a bit easier cheers
on my setup i have longitude west or east ? and latitude north or south what do i choose ?

on the motor send it to zero then set the lat scale on the side to 56 and dont move it again. in the stb menu set usals to 56N and 4W and then select thor@1west and align your dish using that sat. use 11.862h/bbc world news. when you have peaked the signal to its max if the pole is 100% plub when you select hotbird/astra1/astra2 it will move the dish to that orbital slot.
as long as you get the motor set up correct and input the correct lat/long you cant go wrong, regards mdt

Check all your connections if your dish isn't turning at all.

Usals is an easy way to move the dish but most people dont put the long and lat in correctly that could be your problem.
ie decimal point in wrong place.
Just choose simple and mode=positioner with correct long and lat and bang in Catseyes bouquets you will be good to go.

i tryed to put them in like this
4.000w
56.000n
but when i press 5 it automaticly goes to number 3 , the only way i can get it in is to put 0 first then hope its correct
