Hi!

I need help with a VW GOLF 6 1.6 CR TDI 2010.
Original ECU damaged, but i can read the partial flash on table and read the serial eeprom with the unlock driver.
Possible to clone this ECU?
Wich tool can do full backup in boot mod?
Or possible to paired with immo a secondhand ECU?
I want to do a backup with FGTech2013 and Byteshooter, but not succes :(
FGTech with the SAK TC1796: -> ERROR CPU_ID
BYTESHOOTER:-> ID is OK, but i press the read: ECU IS NOT RESPONDING

first you need the BS update for this car .

have you test to write in bootmode than you need recover the eeprom the ecu is in debugmode

you must write this ecu only in car over OBD

Hi!

The problem is not the lock-unlock, the ECU is damaged, leaked.
I like to clone to a secondhand ECU!
But i think this is not possible... :(

Dealer can code an used ecu to those cars, just get a friend inside or a person who can do it with no big ammount of money charged.

They are now allowed on the newer diagnostic tester to recode ecu for testing purpose, which can be also definitive ;)

On now, there isnt way to read whole file, only partial read like OBD, buy ECU the same number of software, write your EPROM, and maybe will work, because there isnt OTP area in this ECU.
Or try update ECU by VagCanPro or other tools
