A couple of questions about skybox f5

Ive been thinking of getting this and have been reading alot about it but im still confused!

I would like to have multi room and ive tried searching the net but no answers, is multi room compatible with these boxes and how do they connect to the box downstairs?

My next question is i have at the minute Sly hd (im half way through my 31 day end of contract)do i just plug the 2 sly wires from my sly dish to the skybox f5 and connect internet ?

Ive been looking on fleabay for box's with free gift so it's just plug and play i assume any help please ?

To have Multiroom you will need two boxes, there is a loop out facility but I would not advise you to use it, it may well fry the box. The F5 is really an entry level box simply for viewing HD TV, don't get me wrong the picture quality is brilliant for the price but don't expect it to be as good as Sly HD. If you want closer to the Sly + HD experience then look at a VU+ Duo, they cost more but are brilliant.

In terms of buying a plug n play box, be careful. Fleabay is full of dodgy traders. I could point you in the right direction, if you are interested PM me mate.

You will only use one of the wires from your dish as its a single tuner.

Multiromm can be sorted with an RF Modulator for under ?20.00.

Think there all about the same. Amazon or Ebay will have them.

Not sure what outputs the your box has but you will need to connect to the modulator with either scart or AV.

Sorry mate, in terms of setting up the F5 you just need a single feed from your Sly dish and an Internet feed, plugged in is better than wifi, even if this means using home plugs.
