Hi guys,
Anyone know how to properly read this mcu? I.e. what programmer?
I've tried ETL with the H256 and DT/G256 and do not result in good reads... CodiProg doesn't have this mask as well, but have not tried it yet.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

ie can be done with simple x-prog or UPA, try this! attachment scheme.

swapped data on one - just took apart and put a BDSM wires on it here

This model has the BDM port on the back. But Reset is pulled down (had to lift pin). I can read with the H256 option but data changes every time I do another read.... so if I write... I could write garbage...
Maybe Bkgd is also pulled down by a component???
ANy ideas? Have others done this model? ( BTW Escape 2011/12 is 'almost' the same but can be read well withthe H256)...
Thanks

On most ford you will notice on one of the six pads that one of the corner pads is squared on the edges, that's the BDM pad

I really appreciate all the input on this one! But maybe I was not clear:
1. there is a BDM port right on the back
2. connecting to the BDM - indicates the RST pin is pull down - I had to lift it, and connect directly
3. I read MCU with ETL, 9s12H256
4. I verify the fresh read and I get data mismatch.... any subsequent read gives me different data in precisely 6 different mmry locations
So this is where I'm confused... do I need a diff programmer (which supports the 3L16Y mask)? Anybody used OTHER mask to read/write this chip? (I did try reading with the DG256, DT256, etc - same thing)
I dont have X-Prog or UPA.... does x-prog support 3L16Y mask? Which one do u recommend? From which source?
Funny thing, I tryed on a Escape dash with the HZ256 and it worked with the H256 setting.......... on this Focus I get these weird data mismatch in those exact 6 mmry locations (i.e. only in those locations data is changed with every read).
