Sorry to disappoint You guys.....
Maybe one or more or You remember the old Branding.dll patches I've made for this some time ago..
Well this Utility does the same, it locates the DLL file checks the version and modifies the file with your selected settings....
The other function that this utility has is to change the Machine Id and for me it didn't work, in fact it changes the reg value for the Machine ID but not the encrypted value also stored in registry, so when I open DDRS it will generate a different Machine ID only it will not keep the one I chose...

Taking this facts, well, for me it's easier to replace the DLL than install something else that will modify the DLL......
If any of you still need the Branding.DLL files just send me a PM to get it, just be specific about the DDRS version that you are using....

I have the branding dll for ddrs 7 where do you place it I want to install on anouther laptop it has been over a year.

When I installed it I did a windows search for branding.dll, when it found both the one I downloaded and the one installed. Then just right click on the one located in program files/diagnostic link and choose open file location, this is the one you are going to be replacing. Or you can just go to C:/program files/diagnostic link, given that you have ddrs installed on your C: drive.
