hi all!

my dreambox's antenna inlet broke. any way to fix it? can i simply replace e whole chip? i hav attached sone pics.. any advice is appreciated.

thx! is dat e chip dat controls e programs we see? cos u bought this from a seller wif e box already programmed..

The replacement board is cheap, PM me if you want to know more.

There is no need to replace the entire set.

If you are adventurous enough, you can simply DIY repair the current set.
Just abandon the chassis, and opt for open-concept.
Just a solder iron, reconnect the threaded plug with the 2 terminals of the RF (CATV) tuner.
I can help you with this if I got free time over the weekends.

Just solder the plug back as shown on the pix, solder an extension to the centre pin.. pointing upward insert thru the hole on the board from within the tuner box. Solder the exterior of the plug to any metallic surface of the tuner metallic casing. Just ensure both centre pin and exterior surface don't touch each other.
