hiya! - just downloaded v1.09 (for ireland - thanks to Satsma!). I get all the channel info in the banner section, however I am not receiving any picture.
The cable co. here is called chorus ntl and I have selected both as part of the installation process without success.
I receive 6 or 7 random channels (but can't seem to get the freeview ones - or even the ones paid for as part of basic package). I have read some of the threads to date but not found anything yet.
Anyone have the same prob? If so how did u resolve!
Cheers!

If you are in Dublin your are more than likely NTL, make sure you have the coax cable, in the Cable IN socket on the back of the box.

Also make sure the keycode is on. Press menu - type 1570 on RC - enable it - exit all the way out. Go to a Sly Sports and let it update.

You will find a tutorial by Lanxman here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/starview/23/tutorial-setting-up-starview-4-super-usb-580/

Not a good time to start off with a new box in Ireland though as they are changing encryption and channels are dropping off.

theres nothing you can do once they change to nagra3 till its hacked, and tbh i cant see it anytime soon as its been going on the satellite side for quite a while now and still not hacked and satellite has the best hackers.

so the future looks bleak :(

you're not wrong there lol.

by all means keep on using it till all the channels go off but i can imagine it wouldnt be too long probs a few months max.

once they have all gone you cold try and recoup some money by selling the box ebay or similar as the uk hasnt started to change over to nagra3 yet
