hi there
i have managed to read this ecu and was wondering if it is tricore protected and needed to be unlocked via boot mode

here is the file i have read via obd

Unless for some reason it's been updated at a dealers, then you should be able to flash by OBD.

My 2008 123d can be done by OBD.

I'm not sure you can tell TPROT version from an OBD readout.

1037395777 is NO TP...i do this ecu by OBD
