bmw e90 steering lock failure

I have one bmw e90 these days with steering lock failure.The car was fixed with another one used evl so the question is after litlle research on net i found emulator for these kind of fault site says that work with e60 e90 elv.
Have anyone use these emu and does realy works with bmw deffective elv.
