If there is no fault codes relating to a Can network issue then i would be looking at all the dash solder joints or try replacing the dash cluster with a used unit and transfer the 9s12 data accross. On the older Fords we used to see water ingress in fuse boxes cause all sorts of electrical items to stay on and drain the battery. Hope this helps

Hi I had this on a 2007 Fiesta once locked the illumination stayed on the speedo It was not flattening the battery but would if you left it a few days with out driving it. They had one at my local breakers yard so I got all the bits and swapped them over one by one Gems Unit/Dash Unit Turned out to be the speedo/dash so copied mileage data and immo data with USB upa wrote to the new speedo and all was good. Hope you have the same luck.
