Me and my Dad bought a DM800 each, he lives in a block of flats and done a channel scan and the box will only pic up so many channels. Between 400-500 max. My box picks up 940+ on my dish and we both have the same image, settings etc, I even tried his on my own dish in-case his communal one was different in some way and it still won't pick up the maximum channels it's supposed to. Anyone have any ideas why this could be. We have contacted the person we bought the boxes from and he said try a different image. But mine is fine and our boxes and settings are indentical? Anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks guys.:tennis:

sounds to me like the tuner on your dads box is faulty

That's exactly what I said mate but the guy who sold us the boxes reckons that they are rarely ever faulty. I will tell him to e-mail him back as its under a 12 month hardware warranty. Thank's for the reply. :)

Try a new set of bouquets no need to scan.
Check post 2.

Just got him to try them there and most just say tune failed mate. I'm convinced it's the tuner, I set his box up exactly how mine is and it won't have it. I use a bouquet updater plugin that works great on mine and on his... nothing.

If you have both boxes takes 5 mins to check the Tuner to see if its sitting correctly.
Try that and if still the same swap the tuners over will then know if its the Tuner or something else.

Tested the box today with my tuner and worked straight away with bouquets. Seems to be dry joints on the broken one. Pics of tuner attached. :tennis:
