corsa 2011 display safe for 15 seconds

I have a corsa D that did not have a radio in it so have put one in and all works fine except top display shows safe for about 15 seconds is there any way around this

what display you have?
I think you have mated with a tech 2 but do not know many....

try to change display mode 10 or 8 digit
4+6+POWER ON or
3+5+POWER ON
