I don't have this wiring diagram.........but you can try to inject square wave signal 3.5 to 5 vpp at the instrument connector pin.......normally it will not harm the instrument for safety you can use a fuse.........if you don't have aa siggen look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f172/simulator-speedometer-287655/#post1668545
