DO you remember exacy how many Km was, not like 143xxx?

This dash has checksum and that is why you get 999999, checksum was not calculate.

Another idee ? Dump ?

ligonis
17th April, 2013, 08:11 PM
does not need any bin file with digiprog, connect the cable, pressing the repair function 999999 and done. Or you could replace the dash, but then you will need to adapt the key

leprosylv
17th April, 2013, 08:23 PM
it's difficult to adapt the key ?

I can't turn a blank dump ?

Digiprog 3 Garbage will fix this!!!!!!!!! For the ?160 I paid for it, it most certainly isn't garbage. I'm getting a bit p***** off with people thinking they're above anyone who uses one of these. Especially as most of you have used a cloned Diga at some stage. What's the difference??? I have equipment that has cost me many thousands of pounds but I also have 2 of these and they do a fanatastic job for what I paid. Go to Audi A3 999,999 repair menu and program mileage with that. It will ask if checksum is some value. Try the first one. If it still shows 999,999 after first program do the same thing again but when it shows you the first checksum value choose X and it will show you a second checksum value, choose that one instead and that should solve it. This is the second thread on this same subject. There are 2 different checksums for this dash. DO THE 999,999 REPAIR OPTION. IF THE FIRST CHECKSUM DOESN'T WORK THEN TRY THE SECOND. It's as simple as that.

I'll quote here member ''davecooper47'' (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/224768-davecooper47/)
''DO THE 999,999 REPAIR OPTION. IF THE FIRST CHECKSUM DOESN'T WORK THEN TRY THE SECOND. It's as simple as that.''
I haven't seen you doing second checksum...

leprosylv
3rd June, 2013, 03:31 PM
Sorry, but I don"t understand, my english is too bad.

You told me to use twice the Repair option 999 999 with same Km ? right ?!

autocargo
3rd June, 2013, 04:51 PM
There are 2 different checksums for this dash. Do exactly same as you did before right to the point you enter km. After you input exact same km as before, when prompted to correct checksum you choose not to, and you will be given another checksum again (second checksum) you select OK and do that one... Try it out and let us know the outcome.

When I start my car, the screen show "Service !", The problems can make cause because I don't reset the alarm for maintenance !

But I still even a bigger problem, the computer still tells me fuel consumption in real time 0l/100 or 43l/100

Thanks a lot
