Hi all,
Have Volvo XC90 2005 which is displaying airbag fault. After quick read with my scanner it says "SRS-0051 Passenger airbag, stage3, signal too low". The problem is that don't know where is tat thing located in the car, o maybe this error has some other meaning. I have unpluged almost all airbags in the car to check, but every time i get different error. The connector that goes to the passenger airbag has 6 twisted pairs, so in theory it should have 3 stages airbag installed, but in reality the are only two pairs going to the airbag. BTW found somewhere on google that his code could mean that the seat belt force limiter is faulty, but seems that this car doesn't have any force limiters...

Anyway if anyone has any kind of information that would be greatly appreciated, or wiring for the srs unit, or at least pinout of the SRS unit.
Thank ya all for help in advance.

My assumptions are :
1. Module Faulty
2. Passenger airbag stage 3 wiring.
3. maybe configuration fault? but i doubt that...

This code is for passenger airbag (in dash). You might have wrong/faulty airbag.

Try resistor 2.2 ohm

Igniter, airbag, ventilation, passenger side -SRS side B4/32 B1/29
Passenger side airbag igniter satge 1 -SRS side B12/40 and B11/39
Igniter, passenger side airbag stage 2 -SRS side B13/41 and B14/42
Mayby stage 3 is ventilation for passenger airbag.

I dont think so, unfotunatelly... :)
Tehre were resistors isntead of airbags, althow the airbags wre not deployed... Stupid people make stupid mistakes...
