1.9 tdi 'popcorn'

Could anyone offer any help or advice on how to make a 1.9 tdi vag make the 'popcorn' noise as seen in the youtube video below? Sounds awesome :laugh:

Done with TL, cut fuel top end in a very short rpm range.

goshhh....dont do that. that nice sound will cost you a lot.

you should give a very small amout of injection on the final rpms.

so on the launch map....you adjust the rpm axis-and make the rpm closer.192108

This ecus turn off the main injector at 5300rpm , so if u put the max IQ u want to the end of the axis , the car will cut like this .

so if i understand this right...the fuel is cut by the torque limiter first,before it reaches the max rpm on launch map.

Don't need to use in-gear torque limiter (launch control map") can be done with the 21X3 torque limiter.
You want to cut the fuel suddenly in just a few RPM for example at 4200rpm you have 50mg, and 4202rpm
you have 0mg. Modify the axis data. Try a few different things to get the desired effect.

For me, I won't be trying it lol

The IQ value is only a example . Change it for the value u need .

Or just find the single RPM Limiter to turn off the injectors and change it for the RPM u want.
