key programming Audi A6 TDI 2002

Quick question...

I bought an ebay key and fob and had a new blade cut. Then programmed remote for central locking.

So immo key now needs to be paired / programmed. Do i need a new transponder or can I use the existing transponder and pair to the immo with VCDS (once ive retrieved SKC)?

you can use old transponder after youget the sck....
but you can read the pin whith vageeprom programer from here and reprogram your key...

im having trouble reading the ecu and pin.. well i tried with vag tacho 3.01 and was unable to

what cables can i use with vag eeprom?

(im looking at getting vag commander and / or mpps....)
