Hi Folks,

can someone explain to me how can you find out what type of BSI someone got? I mean, where to change mileage. because I see someone post a dash dump and you guys give BSI dump, like a charm :). is there any software or some algorithm or value in BSI that you can recognize what type of BSI is it ?

Thanks

You can recognise it by vin and pin location and dump structure. If you work a lot with dumps you know exactly what type it is. Johnson Controlls after 2008 for example is not xored and you can see the checksum behind the km in the dump.
