Hello
I have noticed a common problem with land cruiser and prado gauges, but can't find much about it online.
2002 to 2007, the models that have c66 chip, temperature and/or oil pressure gauge, and incase of prado just temperature gauge fails, doesn't fix by changing motors, have to change the cluster.
Has anyone else noticed this ? And if yes, is there a fix for this ?

Thanks
steve

This may be telling you to suck eggs but Have you tried going over the majority of the solder joints on the board?? and have you tested the supply and earth to the motor and trace the fault through the board

It's not the motors, I change them and nothing happens, I have also checked motors from faulty clusters in working ones and they work. It's the cluster itself, and i reflow all solder poinrs abd all joints and still the same. I was thinking something like the orange box fix for Audi clusters.

Hi M8
Have got now same cluster by me .

Customer claims that the Heat Guage was working 100% till he got the KM reading INCORRECTED
I notice that there is CSI 93c66 fitted to it NOW .
Must it not be an ST 93c66 or RA 66 ???
