Can some please help me with this car? I have been trying to program with the USA prog and it keeps failing when it tries to write it bAck. I have contacted smelcom with no success. Here is a dump of what I have read. Should I remove the EPROM 93c66?

Another problem I have is that when I put the dash back the message center is blank but the back light is lit. Could it have been the the LCD ribbon on back? I will look at it again tmrw but I would like anyone with experience on this to please help me thx!

It's strongly recomend to always remove the epprom.

Where is you dump file ?

Chances are that the chip is fryed.

Try to read it and write a couple times to make sure is ok, check the solder points and lest but not last the xtrail bridge if you make one.
