Complete Newbie here, so please don't kill me, it only my second post!

I'm now the owner of a new 6900HD Super, but finding the TM manual is next to useless. Discovering more by trying and seeing what happens, but does anyone know on a resource that could be better than the boxed manual?

Cheers :wavey:

Hi and thanks for the offer I'll take up, so here comes the first question. Its really low level, but it is bugging me.

When I set a timer program to record the unit will come out of standby to record the program, but does not return to it once the program is complete. You have to switch the unit off manually.

Is this a fault on my box, or is there a setting in the menus I have to activate?

Is this a fault on my box, or is there a setting in the menus I have to activate? Select the channel you want to record eg, c+ action then press the EPG button on the film you want to RECORD ( there is Onlly 2 to choose from) press the OK button and the highlighted yellow will turn blue. Now press the RED bookmark button the Timer will appear with the Correct start & finish times.Press the down button CH- Utill the Record is higlighted in yellow, select to ON the press the Exit buttton. It will then ask if you want to Save, go to YES and press OK. Timer now Set. Machine will now turn Off &2 red lights will showin the receiver window.Never fails to record. Hope this helps in some way.
