RNS 510 dead after firmware update

I`v got RNS 510 non working at all from costumer . He say that he try to update it to another version and now it is all dead.I suppose flash programming must be done. Did any one had similar case for fixing it?

Was power stable?
Did you ensure the battery was good or leave engine on idle?
Was the disc a copy??
If so did you use a quality disc and burn very slowly?

Try re-inserting the disc and see if the unit willl accept, if not then the only way would be to try and flash. If it wont enter to bootloader there are no other options really.

I did not make update by my self. The costumer brought the radio on non working condition. There is not booting at all.

The customer has made a wrong update!!!but i know there are some backup dvd....

Backup DVD will not work if it cannot enter bootloader.
