Hi All. I have just bought Xprogm 5.3 and I am having issue with the program just hangs when trying to read micro or eeproms. I have tried the box on another laptop with xprog 5 and the box works fine so I know its the software at fault. Any thoughts???

I too bought xprog5.3 with usb key dont work with software 5.3 dont read device24c32 and other verify and vrite ok ,with software 5.0 this xprog work all fine any sugestion?

Use 5,0, not 5.3 with dongle.

yes i bought 5.3 with dongle but no read device software 5.3 start ok not working properly dont read device epp 93c66 24c32 and another software ligh green led
software is frozen i must put ctr+alt+del to end task xprog5.3 verify ok write ok i use power suply 12v-15v i instaled 2 others version i uninstal others software , i disable antivirus and clear drvers i try use on 3 other computer
with software 5.0 without usb key this xprog work all fine
you have a idea sugestion ?

yes, i'm certain that there are many sellers sell v5.0 which working perfect BUT only for a while. I advise you search the forum by 'xprog, counter' you will see and will no longer hope that your new Xprog v5.0 will be pefect for ever/long.
