Is the firmware the same for all skybox/openbox f3,f4,f5 including upto date firmware? many thanks.

the f3/5 are the same the F4 is different but if you are referring to functionality i would imagine they are all pretty similar.

Mate the firmware will work for the F3 and F5 as they are primarily the same box. Do not try using the F3/F5 firmware on the Openbox.
