I work with this engines for me not exist.
If you need service manuals or parts catalog is available for mercury volvo and more diagnostic software for this motors and for yamaha johnson-evinrude suzuki .
All diagnostic software need interface for connect to engine.
Only Johnson -Evinrude is simple to connect to engine.

hi guy you must know cds of Mercury is for windows but you must connect every month to server for update .If no connect the soft is blocked. Vodia is for pocket pc .The problem is the interface for both diagnostic : only for dealers .
If you need some manuals for marine engines ask no problem.

I have had 4 power boats with Mercruiser onboard.all of them. Most of them where GM engines (Marine-adapted). So maybe looking at the BIG OLD block specific model you can find everything on normal vehicles engines.

Volvo vodia is available only for dealers. You need ppc Hp5550+ interface +cable .What you do only with software ?

You want to play .....the problem is interface you must find a dealer who sell this interface.
This adapter cost 420 euro maybe too much for playing .
Cables is with deutsch connectors and Hp5550 is possible to find on ebay. For software ......:pcguru:

Volvo penta work only with ppc

Did someone manage KKL to work with YDS V1.30 , I know that original interface USB to K-line adapter like all others with FT232BL and L9637D in smd but in installed folder /YDS/Driver/ is only Win98 and WIN2000 driver.Also I know to VID and PID must be next : VID = 06D3 and PID = 2802 . I can't find what serial number must be entered in FIX SN in .ept and did someone have XP driver for YDS 1.30 ???

If any help or if someone can read from his interface from FTDI dump to ept file and post. (read with Mprog for FTDi )...
