seat cordoba immo off

I have a 96 seat cordoba with an ADZ engine that I want to do an immo off for. Can someone please tell me if I need to read a chip from the engine ECU or from the immo box? Im assuming its gonna be a 93c46, and I cant seem to find the immo box, although vagcom will communicate with it, so it must have opne somewhere, hope someone can tell me where.....

here is a pic of the ECU, which do I read?, I was hoping to see a 93c46 or something in there. my diagram shows a immo box, can it be done from there if I find it?

ok thanks mate, Ill have a look for the immo box, had a quick look under the dash & couldnt see it, Ill have a closer look later & see how I go

thanks a million mate. The immo box was in the first place I looked, I just missed it. Its the same as the golf 3, ur right, Ive done a couple of them before so it was all good, thanks again
