Does the car have a tachograph or was there a tachograph removed.

it is normaly because this is not original dashboard you must to change the vin or adapt tooriginal fiat tool
put the dump or if ist same dashoard put original dump inside

Dont think its a vin issue (no vin stored as i can remember), if you mean proxy allign, this would cause a blinking odo display not stripes.

no, the car came to 400000 and show "-------" at the dealership say new dashboard.
I have several vehicles a like.
the dashboard I get it today.
try changing km in dashboard and ECU by obd with dp3 and could not
