Autocom upgrade question

Hi, Folks,
is there any way to change serial from 30200 to 100251?

30200 is for 2012.2
100251 is for 2012.3

today i made a little experiment and I installed new version, after that I made firmware uprade to vci, but old number 30200 still exist.
I tryed to change it with standart tools, but it can't make it.

VCI still is working normaly, because i made downgade it via old version (update soft)

Anyway I d'like to uprade it to 2012-3 if there is a chance to make it.

Problem is only in Ser. Num. from 5 digits to 6 digits.
Old sn.tool does not accept 6 digits.

5-digit SN's are likey being of old CDP (CDP Pro). When install SW, ex autocom, you need to select CDP

6-digit SN's are found on new VCI CDP+ and when install the SW, need to select CDP+

your understanding is incomplete, autocom SW's support both types of VCI's since 2011 version and possibily before that. So select the right product according to your VCI on any SW (you have) when install.
