Hi,
I purchased a crashed Citroen C5 2006 with the 2.0 HDi 136 engine and Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. I'm planning to transplant the engine + trans to an 1980's car. I was hoping to leave the majority of electronic subsystems out (like abs/esp, dpf + additive dosing). The engine and and trans share data through canbus, and the immobilizer probably needs the BSI to work also. So, the power unit will be missing data like vehicle speed from the esp, does anybody know a way around this?
