Added a file to VAR\ETC and now DREAMBOX appears to stick on the GP logo

Hi all,

Not sure if this is coinceidence but I added a file to var\etc and now when I start the Dreambox, it sticks on the GP logo. I left the machine on for 3 minutes as well.

Thanks. I do not have a null modem but managed to connect to the dreambox via ftp. Also installed Flashwizard if it helps.

You need to get yourself a null modem cable jonnyboy123, its the only way to flash the box with confidence
