pc files to vu +solo2

hello guys is it possible to ftp movie files avi /mvk / from pc to installed sata internal hd ..im running vix latest image ????? if so what is the bst way to do so . many thanks

Why not just put the the movies in a shared folder on pc and set the shared folder as a mount point on vu. Yes pc will need to be on but saves transferring files over.

or what i bought was a 2tb network drive from "wd my book live personal cloud storage " which plugs into your router and put your films on that,music and photos also if you wish,any enigma2 box can access the recordings around the house and pc is off.
