Renault Master tachograph off

Hi guys,

PLEASE, I need to switch on the odometer on the dashboard after tachograph separation. That's Renault Master 2004, 93C66 ,dump attached.
Dash sticker says P8200199523--B, MCU 21 677 390-3

I belive the dash on Renault Master with tachograph don't have eeprom inside, kilometer stored in tachograph... check this. If possible you must change dash and recode with clip

Negative m8, the dashboard is equipped with an eeprom. I made that eep readout yesterday. Got no clip so i prefer the dump modification. :rolleyes-new:

Start the engine more than 12 times... you will see the result : )

Yes, you are right. The eep content was overwritten via can bus. Does not happen when disconnected from CAN. Will try to make a hw goaround - disconnect CAN, when car is stationary, because while engine runs, everything seems to be fine.... Any other idea make this, please?

Solved now, necessary to diconnect the CAN bus while te engine is stationary. This works fine now for just 200Km. :anonymous:

Info for those who whats to remove tachograph...
Tachograph in Renault cars are configured in DASH and UCH.
This configuration comes from factory and its impossible to configure it out with CLIP. Dash dump modification is also useless.

How about if permanent +30 from cluster is linked to +15 ... so there is no power supply for power latch ?

Really close bro, but maybe you are loosing the date time ot trip meters. _?
Just use my solution and hook up the relay to CAN lines. Relay powered by engine running terminal so that CAN lines to the dash are connected only when the engine runs.
That car works OK with no problems for 5 years !!

Hello. Has anyone of your colleagues done this reprogramming with Clip or EEPROM switching in 93c66? I have Mascott II.

I found something else, Modification of Eeprom Dash and UCH. I don't know if it works, I'll try it.
1) remove Tachograph.
2) unplug Dashboard
3) using diag equipment,( CLIP) change "speed signal source" in the UCH. Choose "from ABS" or "VSS in gearbox" if u dont have ABS.
4) plug Dashboard.
