2001 306 hdi key will not programme!!!!!

Trying to programme a key on a 2001 306 hdi ( rhy ), PP2000 keeps saying key programming faulty........ using a pre coded id33 (cph). Anything i need to check?

yes , the transponder, this is your problem, make sure you have at least 10 transponders, change the transponder if not work, change to other transponder, i had a ford focus yesterday and the car took me 6 hours to got a key working same message (key fault), vw golf(same problem ) and other cars to, so never giv up before to 6 hours, and test at least 10 transponder.

there are two types of id33 for peugeot. Try both the logics below one should work
type 1)- 00 00 F0 3E 2E 23 00 F0 3E 2E 23 00 F0 3E 2E 23
type 2)- 30 C0 F1 E3 FF 71 00 C0 01 00 38 70 1C 00 70 1C

are you shure your car use id33 transporder

read eeprom 93c66 from immo box, use zedbull or similar to add key using T5 chip.

that's looking like a good idea at the mo Ninja123, will get myself a ZedBull and Sierra's soft i think......... if anyone has got a recommended supplier of the Zed, let me know by pm ;) Thanks for your replies. Btw Verica, what do you think it uses?

can you put transponder chip out the key on barrel sensir and use differeant key prog tool
