Hi all,

Have run a loop back coax between my F3 box and Sky HD box. I bought the short loop back coax as I wanted to use the Sky EPG to see what was on while the F3 box was in standby mode. When I power on the Sky+ box (with F3 box off/standby) I get the full package that I previously had before disconnecting at the start of April. Is the loopback supposed to work in this way? I bought the cable as I wanted to use the Sky EPG to see what was on while the F3 box was in standby mode. What I got was not only the EPG but a Sky+ output. Not complaining but the paranoia within has me worried slightly worried ?!?!?!?!?

Thanks,

- PMC

Is your sly viewing card in your sly+ box? I have just tried this and it did not work for me

It's got nothing to do with the F3 loop output. That is simply a pass through to the dish.

If you connected your S l y+ box straight to the dish, you will see the same thing.

Thanks for the feedback. Have been 'tinkering' with in since my original post.

It would 'appear' that the card is still active, despite being cancelled over two months ago (package then ran to early April). I had the box switched off at the mains before the contract period was up, so they probably had issues sending a kill signal to the card.

Well just keep using it until they kill it ;) who knows you may have it for quite some time yet
