Max Temp on my CPU. is it safe..?

Just bought a new Motherboard and Processor and im worried about the max Temp on my CPU. My CPU is a AMD FX 8350 and my MAX temp has reached 69 degrees c on load. Am I ok or do I need a better haetsink and fan. Cheers for your help....

If it is overheating m8 it will shutdown and restart as its designed to do,dont know the spec off the top of me head.http://www.google.co.uk/.

B4 you get a new heatsink remove the old clean off all the thermal paste form it and the cpu.Reapply see if its any lower............

From what I've read about these they do run seriously hot.

The standard work around seems to be the Corsair H80i. Not cheap, but probably worth it in the long term.

looked at that H80i and it looks god but I would prefer a non water cooled solution. could any1 point me in the right direction for a AMD FX 8350 CPU...

Sorry if I didn't make my self clear, I have the CPU its a heat sink and fan im after. but not a water cooled option..

69 is a little bit hot, but depends what you're doing with it. My AMD 6 core normally floats around 52 to 60 degrees, although I saw it hit 93 degrees last week, which is really too hot. The motherboard shut it down anyway, then I took it to bits and cleaned out the heatsink :) You probably need to check the BIOS settings for the fan speed etc, try keep it 50 to 60 degrees, and if it won't consider a new heatsink and fan. When you say 69 degrees on "load" what do you mean by load?

Hi m8, what I mean about the word "load" is that all 8 cores are running pretty much full. I want a air cooled heat sink and fan. size is a factor as I don't have a gaming case....

Hi guys, I've just bought a new cooler and im sure it will fit (Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo) but im worried of replaceig the cooler. ive replaced one cooler before and I bent one prong on the cpu and I don't want this to happen again. im thinking wheather I could just get away with the stock cooler. The max temp im getting is 58 degrees not the 69 degrees I said which was wrong. so could I live with the stock fan or should I risk it an try fitting the new cooler... Thankx Guys

58 on a amd at this time of year at full load isn't mega high tbh you should be good with that
