Ok let me 1st give you my network layouot before i get to the problem i am having.
My ISP is Virgin with a Superhub in modem mode. This runs through to my TPLink N600 series Gigabit router.
This then feeds a TP Link switch under my TV.
From this, i have ran a line upstairs to a bedroom with another TP Link Switch
Again, into another room, again, TP link Switch, this then filters down and feeds 2 bedrooms (they will be having switches, just not needed yet)
All running through Cat6e cable, all chased and plugged up with sockets in the walls.
The problem i am having is that, only 1 XBOX 360can connect to live at a time. Its throwing DNS errors. The only way i can get more than 1 XBOX online is to reboot the HUB.
I have systematically rebooted everything on the network to no avail, of course, except the HUB.
I have been in contact with Virgin, who are telling me that everything is fine blah blah blah. I have been put through to thier 'Networking' team who still could not advise me, apart from they wont support more than 1 device on a network bull.
Everything else is running fine, i have googled this issue, nothing is jumping out at me.
Other things i have tried are :
Port forwarding to a static IP on the boxes - Failed
Manually setting DNS servers in my router - Failed
Has anyone any ideas????
