I am clueless with this one. Already have the EEPROM ( 24c02 ) removed from the cluster and read. The vehicle showed 44,166 miles and I would like around 39,400 miles.

Mileage is great around 39,6xx, but now I have an airbag light that I don't think was on before I removed the instrument cluster. Will the airbag light go out on its own or do I need to clear it somehow. I think someone in the shop might have tried to start the car without the cluster.

Probably need clearing with diag tool, had it before on cabs if you take dash out with roof down get airbag light on and never gone out on their own. Straight out with scan tool though dont worry.

hi, would anyone know how to set the mileage to '0'? what is the hex code??? tried 00 00 00 00 and 00 00 00 0F and a combination but no luck. i cannot work out the algorithm they use which results on odometer reading default value.
