Hey mate,

If you have the pin number from the 'new' ECU, you can adapt using vagcom, google Ross tech wiki.

On the other hand, if you do not have a pin, what I usually do is desolder the EEPROM from the original ECU and replace the one in the 'new' one with it. Usually takes me 15 minutes to get a car started in these circumstances even with a hot air gun.

Just my 2p....

Better keep silence than give 2p...:hahaha:
Do you ever seen MED17 or EDC17 ECUs ?
Where you found separate eeprom on it ??

ecu is second hand,I do not have pin code from ecu,it needs more pin,cs,( and mac adress do not know need) from bcm to ecu

ecu is second hand

Not possible to adapt using pin/cs/mac etc.
If main CPU on old ECU is intact you can make ECU clone - replace it on new board.

MY old (first) ecu is damaged from salt water

Who ever tried ABRITES SOFTWARE OPTIONS (AN037 - ECU Adaptation by OBDII) AN037 - ECU Adaptation by OBDII (http://abrites.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57&product_id=166)
can I make it ?

If you still not invested 10000+ euros in avdi-abrites, best way is ... to buy NEW ecu.
Because there is a formulae: (second hand ECU + hire service to adapt it) appoximately equal (new ECU + dealer service)
Checked many times....
