View Full Version : Removing tacho from ford transit and getting mileage to display on dash

as per thread topic guys....

whats best way to go about this ?

customer asked me to sort dash out as he has removed tacho from the transit.

now the mileage is just showing 00

any help greatly appreciated

The tachometer is wired directly into the harness its not worth the hassle

ahh ok mate

ill tell him tomo.

easiest way to leave tacho in then yeah n just hide it somewhere in teh dash lol :)

Will a normal cluster in place of original one not work or normal non tacho dataset

there is an INCERIOR ford transit website with photos how to remove tacho

behind glove box grey plug with 6 pins. Judt looped

Link still works. You might need your glasses on

Should take you 5 minutes or 2 if your rough and use a scotchlock

to be sure, unplug the link, will kill the tachograph and speedo
