fgtech repair No voltage (portugese clone)

anyone have any experience of No Voltage fault ?
tool has always worked well, Now i have no voltage on sw, eobd etc,
yet light on fgtech unit, ??
anyone no were to look on board for voltage problem or what to test / Change, ??

Sorry for my stupid question .......... but i was in trouble with the usb cable, have you try to chance it ?
if yo konnect to the car the led is on ?

Are you using the correct software? Yours is showing as SLAVE???

if the software is correct, you can use obd2 and put pin4 gnd, pin16 12v, and test if it works

Hi yes tried other versions of sw, not eobd 2012 as same, usb cable tried many,
and external 12v power same,

have not taken readings off main pcb yet,
Arvedo maybe i need to try pin 4, 16, silly question do you have a pin out diagram ?

Check voltage at this point.
If voltage is OK than you have problem with main MCU.
You can't repair MCU fault - only send back to seller.

+ 9.8V at test point from picture???
It can't be even on fully damaged device. Impossible.

Voltage must be measured beetween any ground points on PCB (or minus pole of 12V power supply) and TP.
One of many ground points is on the picture

Ok i will retest tomorrow, i went from ground point top right (Left of G)
will update,,,,
12v in & still not possible ??? this all happened when reading a Renaul megane 1.5dci, (thankfully On the Read)

Cant find the EOBD (2012) sw, to try. only the chinese old version,
its the version with car brand Logos, think V48,
anyone have a copy or link to a version so i can try, my original portugese disk wont read,

flash the FTDI width the 2 repair files !
use direct cable wires like you are feeding the ecu !
red is 12V
black gnd !
if still not work, go to device manager and see if the FGT2 have correct drivers installed ! if not choose install driver"s from (C:)
once I have one situation like you have now !

s? you must contact your supplier to get the FTDI repair for shore he can help you !
I only use "ding xin ping "fgt2 !
because some times the device number is on the ept file !

your issue is due to the fact that you are using wrong sw.
your tool is v48 and it will nor work with v53 - sw the version which you are trying to use now.

for your tool you have to use v48 sw version - and you will not have any issue any more.

or maybe somebody here can support to solve the issue on v48 working tool with v53 sw!!!!
