Yes m8 it has a virus but no need for panic do. I had the same problem, but someone advice me to turn off the avast and use the tacho no meter for having virus. And it works. It's not any dangerous virus. Just for the security, move it to your second partition. Don't worry, be happy :canabis:

You can't send PM because you do not have enough posts. I think that you need five posts to send PM.
Where did you find NYO4? Is it full, because I think mine is not? aproximate size about 130 Mb

desolder the memory chip from the airbag module
read the data from the chip with the eeprom programmer
open tacho, select you car and import the data from the chip
save the new data with a new name and .bin at the end
program the new data into the memory chip
solder the chip back and thys should be it
be careful vhen you remove the chip from the board not to heat damage the chip or to break the pbc lines
the memori chip is a small smd chip with 8 pins, 4 on each side

would anyone know if a homemade programmer would work for these eeprom chips or can suggest the best ones to buy and at what cost please?
been reading up on this and was wondering of any guides as well in locating these chips in different airbag ecus.

I wonder what happens if you start learning to crash airbags, i would say you need a car with airbags, no need to search for difficult hardware !
