Hello.

I have made an engine swap on an Audi A6 TDI 2000 from a 2.5 TDI engine to a 1.9 TDI Engine.
The car will only start now if I put the key from the 1.9 car (NEW engine) into the transponder reader ring.

Is there a way to transfer / disable the IMMO in the new ECU and only let it on the cluster ?
Or what is the best procedure ?
Can I maybe somehow match the new 1.9 ECU with the old cluster ?

Any advice appreciated.

think, the eassiest way were to make immo off, (in flash) on new ecu.or read the pin from old ecu and try to match the key.

I was also thinking IMMO off on new ecu or read pin from old. Question is if the IMMO data /PIN can be extracted on bench from old ecu on the bench now that all the wiring is changed to match the new engine/ecu.
Think the old ECU is :
4b0907401K
Bosch 0281001931
