Hi.

My RT3 started saying checking disk, and the satnav kept resetting. A week later it started showing 'please insert upgrade cd' '2.13' and will not do anything else.

I have burned the copy of software from undergroun.com using 2 methods, 1) burn ISO file direct to CD, 2) ran the ISO fle which burned the immage to CD. Both of these were done on TDK disk at x1 speed.

When I try and install the upgrade, neither of them work:

Method 1 - the cd just gets ejected straight away.
Method 2 - the cd stays in, but does nothing, might not even eject for days.

Am I doing something wrong or are there other issues?

Hold down the dark button when you have CD in. RT3 should reset and start upgrading. Don't forget that during that proces it is adviseble that car is running.

on the front panel of your radio, there is a button "dark", press and hold it for 12 seconds...
