the car is Kia Clarus 1.8 16V ?
if yes ,then need dump from 27C512 (B58550) flash for immo off.
After that must remove your 24c02 from ecu.

Just post dump from 27c512 plcc32, you don't have to remove 24c02 with the good immo off file.

your 27C512 (http://i.ebayimg.com/t/M27C512-15C1-ST-ELEC-PLCC-EPROM-27C512-NOS-/13/!BzqkPJgCWk~$%28KGrHqUOKnIEw9VyLDzbBM%28CtwMMF!~~_ 35.JPG) is B58550 in your ecu.
if use a good immo off file ,yep don't need to remove 24c02 B58258 eeprom BUT
if in your car disconnecting battery ,is almost certainly to block your immo again.
this is from my experience with this car in the past.
