ive had a similar problem with a 2003 pulsar, the owner supplied a chinese made key so I programmed it in with my scanner and car started then the next day they rang me up and said it wont start so I reprogrammed it and same thing , started ok then it stopped the next time they tried to start it, well I then went to Nissan and bought agenuine key and I programmed it and never had any probs after that, u should only need a good scanner to program in a new key with nissans even when all keys lost and u also need Nissan supercode software , so with nissans I always try to use genuine keys

Dear Friend
While you might check contact switch, it is possible that the problem is in the switch or coil antenna. would be good scan and see that throws you fault code.
on the other hand suggest you post your dump for review.
