renault can bus emulator not working?

bad luck again (probably with china.... again...)

so i try to power up my clients renault scenic dash. i connect emulator the same way as it is on the picture: Renault CAN BUS Emulator for Instrument Cluster Repair - $20.50 : go car diagnostic , scanner , car , auto scanner, car diagnose, diagnostic tools (http://gocardiag.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=77&products_id=652)

so i plug it into my power supply and stry to increase voltage. when i come to 8v, the red light on emulator starts blinking, after i reach 10-11v, the supply goes off (fuse turns green...). the display-the dash doesn't power up.
what could be wrong? emulator?

the problem on dash is that it every time the date and time reset, but displays works ok.

please need solution.... as fast as possible.

Sounds like you have no permanent live to your dash. Check all fuses in the car.

it works when dash is in car(it lights up, but resets every time)...
why emulator cannot power it up?

You must use a good power supply. I usually connect to a car battery direct. Try and report

Agree with above dash might require fiur amps psu one?
